Where does the collagen come from, and is the product vegan?
The collagen in Collagen Plus Type Lemon comes from cattle (bovine collagen hydrolysate) and contains types I and III collagen. The product is therefore not vegan, but it is gluten-free and contains no added sugar.
When and how should I take Collagen Plus Type Lemon?
The collagen powder drink can be taken at any time of day. Simply stir one scoop into 300 ml of water—that’s it. No shaker, no clumps. Our tip: add ice cubes and a slice of lemon—for your very own lemon moment.
Where do the product’s natural flavors come from?
Our natural flavors are derived from plant-based and microbiological sources. The flavor is produced naturally, and no synthetic substances are used. The product also contains natural lemon juice powder, which gives it its refreshing taste.
Can Collagen Plus Type Lemon and Collagen Original or Collagen Intensive be combined?
You can combine Collagen Intensive in the morning with Collagen Plus Lemon in the afternoon. That way, you don’t have to give up your Glow Coffee. Collagen Original and Collagen Plus can be combined, as long as you don’t consume more than 15g of either product per day. Please make sure, especially with Collagen Plus, that you do not exceed the recommended daily intake indicated on the packaging. Unlike collagen hydrolysate, there is a maximum intake limit for vitamins and minerals.
Why did we choose the specific amounts of nutrients included?
You’ll find detailed information about the vitamins and minerals contained in Collagen Plus on the packaging. There are specific guidelines for all vitamins and minerals regarding how much an adult should consume daily. By taking 15 g of Collagen Plus per day, the body receives 16 mg of vitamin C, 2 mg of zinc, and 10 µg of biotin. These amounts correspond to 20 % of the recommended daily intake for each of these three nutrients. This provides the body with a portion of what it needs to maintain overall health. Ideally, the remaining 80 % should come from your daily diet.
Why did we use synthetic ingredients?
The synthetic ingredients are calcium L-ascorbate (vitamin C), zinc gluconate (zinc), and D-biotin. We opted for synthetic alternatives because the natural ingredients have a strong flavor of their own and would need to be used in higher quantities—to ensure your body has enough vitamin C, zinc, and biotin. However, this would make your Glow drink taste very unpleasant. Since the synthetic ingredients have no taste of their own and contain higher concentrations of these essential nutrients, you can maintain your beloved morning routine with Collagen Plus, and your Glow drink will taste just as it always does.
